Stella Marie Zielinski

Stella Marie Zielinski Mrs. Stella Zielinski, 75, resident of Gulfport, went home to her final resting place, March 1, 2013. Mrs. Zielinski is a native of Dover, Arkansas and is the daughter of the late William C. Fowler and his wife Annie B. Fowler of Gulfport. She is the wife of the late Leonard J. Zielinski of Gulfport. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Woman’s Auxiliary, a life member of the VFW National Home of Children and also was President in The Magnolia Commodores, “Cootie” Woman’s Organization. She enjoyed volunteering for many benefits. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Bobbie Jones and Sue Fowler, of Gulfport, two brothers, J. B. Fowler of Long Beach, and Paul R. Fowler of Gulfport, a grandson, Jerry Ruiz of Long Beach and a great-grandson, Bryce Ruiz of Gulfport. She is survived by her brother, W.C. Fowler and wife, Jeanne Fowler of Madison, MS, a daughter, Lorraine Ruiz and husband Denny Ruiz, of Long Beach, a son, Michael Zielinski and wife, Rita Zielinski, of Saucier, three grandchildren, Jason Ruiz and wife, Jennifer Ruiz of Gulfport, Brian Ruiz and Josh Ruiz of Long Beach, five great-grandchildren, Tyler Ruiz and Jonathan Ruiz, of Saucier, Jerrett Ruiz of Long Beach, Olivia and Isabel Ruiz of Gulfport, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more family members and friends. She will be sadly missed and her memory will always live in our hearts. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 8:00 AM.
