Stephen Randall Carr

Stephen Randall Carr of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, passed away on June 1, 2021 at the age of 56. Stephen was born in Biloxi, MS. After serving in the United States Navy, he continued his education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Alabama. He also earned Masters of Science Degrees in both Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Tulane University. Stephen worked for over 17 years in the field of engineering, in both the states and overseas, before retiring to enjoy doing the things he loved to do. Among his many interests, this included fishing, golfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, nature photography, his newest hobby of beekeeping, and of course, the New Orleans Saints. Most of all, Stephen loved spending time with family and friends from all over the world. Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Phonsie Carr and Margie Faye Carr. Stephen is survived by his daughter, Jessica Floyd (John) Roberts; his grandchildren, Anna Caroline Roberts and John Thomas Roberts of Tupelo, Mississippi; his brothers, Thomas Wayne Carr and Brian Allen Carr; his nephew, Christian Stewart Lamb; and several cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi from 12 noon until 2 pm on Thursday, June 10th. A private burial will take place at a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Stephen Carr.
