Mr. Ralph T. Murrah, age 90, of Biloxi, MS., died Wednesday, November 8, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Murrah was born on March 31, 1916, in Biloxi, MS., and was a lifetime resident there. While a resident of the Biloxi Community Living Center, Ralph endeared himself to the staff and residents with his warmth and humor. He was the last member of this Murrah family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Carrie Mae Murrah, four sisters, Myrtle Murray, Ethel M. Balius, Willie Lee Galle, and Essie Watts, and two brothers, Homer A. Murrah and Vernon Forehand. Survivors include his nephews, Carl S. Balius, R.J. Murrah, and Thomas Galle, and nieces, Betty Joy Bottger, Beth Smith and Carrie Mae Gutierrez. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 11, 2006, from 2-3 PM with a 3 PM chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
