Steven D. "Steve" Doyle, 49, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, Steve was a graduate of Biloxi High School Class of 1973. He was employed in civil service for the U. S. Dept. of Navy as a Quality Assurance Specialist. He retired from the U. S. Air Force Reserves in 1999 after 20 years of service. Steve was a member of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and American Legion Post 1992.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Steve and Laurence Pavich of Biloxi, MS and his paternal grandparents, Donald and Honorine Doyle of Cambridge, MA.
Steve is survived by his wife, Pam Doyle of Biloxi; parents, Donald and Marie Doyle of Biloxi; brothers Joe Doyle and his wife JoAnn of Biloxi and Don "Donnie" Doyle of Biloxi; sister, Lydia Costa and her husband Greg of San Angelo, TX; special uncle, Joseph Pavich of Metairie, LA and 16 nieces and nephews, 4 of whom were also his Godchildren, Jonathan Doyle of Biloxi, Katherine Zwerg of Ocean Springs, Justin Parchert of Biloxi, and Dawson McGregor of Brandon.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2005 from 5:30p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00a.m., Friday, May 27, 2005, at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach with burial following in Biloxi City Cemetery.
