Sue Carolyn Gamble Cheskevick

Sue Carolyn Gamble Cheskevick, age 80, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, in Gulfport.

Sue was born on March 15, 1942, in Newton, MS, to parents, Carroll Clay Gamble and Hattie Pearl Huddleston. She graduated with the class of 1959 from George S. Gardiner High School. Sue worked for CFHC for over 30 years and retired as a purchasing agent. She was a longtime resident of Biloxi, MS. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends, whom she loved with all her heart.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Clay Gamble and Hattie Pearl Huddleston; spouse, Vincent T. Cheskevick; and son, Anthony Clay Cheskevick.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Carole Spence (Charles); grandchildren, Samantha Gilbert, Katelyn McCulloch (Marcus), Anthony “Taylor” Cheskevick, Madeline Gilbert, and Christian Cheskevick; and great-grandchildren, Allie, Emilie, Aubrielle, D’Angelo, Piper, Knox, and Lyrica.

To her beloved friends, the family would like to extend a thank you for all of the love and respect they have shown her throughout the years.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
