Sugako "Sue" Nakai Woody

Sugako "Sue" Nakai Woody, of Biloxi, passed away, April 6, 2023, peacefully in her home. 

Sue was born February 24, 1930, to Mr. and Mrs. Seiji Nakai in Osaka, Japan. She was married to her devoted husband, Gary Woody, who she was able to spend their 65th Wedding Anniversary together the day before she passed. Sue was the most loving and generous Mother, who was able to pour that same love and compassion to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also an accomplished seamstress for many years on the coast. Sue loved spending time with her family and gambling. To know Sue was to love Sue. She made everyone who she met smile. Sue would truly light up your day. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Seiji Nakai, her son, Gary R. Woody, and her son-in-law, Shawn Dickinson.

Sue is survived by her husband Gary Woody, son James (Tina) Woody, her two daughters Linda Raymond and Karen Dickinson; grandchildren, Jesse Raymond, Brian Woody, Mikey Kelly, Derek (Dallas) Ebanez-Woody, Shana (Neil) Dellenger and Gavin Clary; as well as her great-grandchildren, Taylen Woody, Nolan Ebanez-Woody, Tatum Woody, Scarlette Nakai Dellenger, and Aksel Kai Raymond. 

A private family service will be held, following a celebration of life at a later date.
