Susan Ann Riddle

Susan Ann Riddle, 60, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Susan was born to Gene and Dorothy Dill, and married to Mark Riddle on January 3, 1970 in Childersburg, Alabama. Sue was a coast resident for 30 years. Susan retired from the Social Security Administration in Biloxi in 2006. She was also a Martial Arts Instructor where she taught Aikido at the Eight Winds Aikido Dojo in Gautier. She also taught karate at the Ocean Springs YMCA. Susan was also a 7th degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate and a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido. When not attending Martial Art Seminars across the country, she enjoyed making jewelry and was a active member of Beta Sigma Phi. She is preceded in death by her father, Gene Dill, brother, Richard Dill; and grandparents, Ernest and Dorothy Merrill. Susan is survived by her husband, Mark Riddle; mother, Dorothy Medley; niece, April Peppers; nephew, Chris Dill; sister-in-law, June Dill, and her children (the cats) Sumi, Milo, and Sasha. Visitation will be held from 6-8p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the USA Mitchell Cancer Center Institute, 1660 Springhill Avenue, Mobile, Alabama 36604-1405.
