Mrs. Susan Brown Bond, age 53, of Gautier, MS., died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Warrior, AL.
Mrs. Bond was a registered nurse for 34 years. She was a graduate of Ida Moffet School of Nursing-Samford University in Birmingham, AL, the University of Maryland, Lorretta Heights-Regis University in Denver, CO. All of her degrees were in Nursing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and an avid reader. Mrs. Bond was a commuicant at St. Pierre's Episcopal Church and a member of the Daughters of the King at St. Pierre's.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joel Marion Brown.
She is survived by her husband, John Bond of Gautier, MS., mother, Norma Lee Brown, two daughters, Audra K. (Rick) Bond of Pascagoula, MS, and Margaret (Todd) Lipps of Ocean Springs, MS. two brothers, Joel Marion Brown, Jr. of Jasper, AL and William David Brown of Birmingham, AL. and three grandchildren, Nathaniel C. Bond, Todd F. Lipps, Jr. and June E. Lipps.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Pierres Epicopal Church in Gautier. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
