Susan Marie Ladnier Standley

Susan Marie Ladnier Standley, age 71, of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Her absolute favorite pastime was spending time with her family and spending time near the water. Susan was a jokester just like her Daddy and often brought humor to the most trying of times. Many who knew her affectionately called her Maw Maw.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Ruby Ladnier and her brother Elbert James “Jimmie” Ladnier. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Daniel “Dan” Standley of Biloxi, MS. She is also survived by her daughter Traci (John) McDill, grandsons Dakota (Sabrina) Wilkerson and Cory (Cortney) McDill, granddaughter Cheyenne (Cody) Conner, great-grandchildren, Dawson and Kate Conner and Gracie and Greyson Wilkerson along with her brother, and host of other family members and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
