Susie Puglise

Susie "Nanu" Gwendolyn Bankester Puglise, 63, of Saucier, was called into the arms of Jesus Friday, December 16, 2011, in Gulfport Mrs. Puglise was born November 5, 1948 to B. O. Bankester in Biloxi, MS. She loved the outdoors, roses, going fishing and being with children. She helped raise three generations of children. Mrs. Puglise was preceded in death by her parents, B. O. and Doris Bankester, and a sister, Peggy Lebatard. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Puglise; sons, Richard (Roxann) Puglise and Jeff (Ashley) Puglise; six grandchildren, Michelle Puglise, Rachel Puglise, Roxanne Puglise, Persefanie Puglise, Jeffery "Bubba" Puglise and David "Dayday" Puglise all of Saucier; her sister, Nancy Carroll of St. Martin; and brother, Jerry Bankester of Gulfport. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donation made to St. Jude's Research Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Saucier Holiness Church where friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
