Suzanne McManus Hendry

Suzanne McManus Hendry, 72, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022.

Suzanne was born to R.E. and Jeannette McManus on September 28, 1949. She was a graduate of Gulfport High School and American Beauty College. Suzanne retired from Memorial Behavioral Health as a supervisor in the nutrition department. She was a member of Saucier Missionary Baptist Church.

Suzanne devoted her entire life to her family who meant everything to her. She lovingly had two children and four grandchildren. She was loved, cherished, and respected by all.

 Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her spouse of 54 years, B.M. Hendry; children, Shelley Hendry and Jason (Abi) Hendry; four grandchildren, Chase (Melodye) Hendry, Lauren Hendry, Madeline Hendry, and Matthew Hendry; sister, Jan (Trevor) Banks of Houston, TX; brother, Robert (Janet) McManus of Picayune, MS; sister, Lisa McManus of Bella Vista, AR; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Hendry family.
