Sybil Rose Cousans-Steuart

Mrs. Sybil Rose Steuart, age 99, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Saturday, April 25, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Steuart was born on December 15, 1909, was a native of Biloxi, MS. and spent 30 years in New Orleans before retiring back to the coast. She was a loving mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thompson Steuart, parents, William and Josephine LeFebvre Cousans, and brothers, Harry (Miriam) Cousans, William F. (Martha) Steuart and John Clearo. Survivors include a daughter, Sybil Jean Steuart of Ocean Springs, son, John Thompson Steuart, Jr. of New Orleans, LA. and sister, Juliette Clearo of San Antonio, TX. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Holy Family Parish, 22342 Evangeline Rd., Pass Christian, MS., 39571. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
