Mr. T. L. Jason Longon, 32, of Ocean Springs, MS, left this world Friday, August 22, 2008, in Mobile, AL.
Jason was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. He was a 1994 graduate of St. Martin High School and continued his education at the Jackson County Campus of MGCCC. He was an electrician and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
Jason played baseball since he was four years old and continued his love of baseball, fishing and hunting. He was a super artist which he expressed in his talent of drawing. He loved family, friends and children and made an extra effort to devote his time to the children of the family and close friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Josie Lepoma Vassalli; Berrie and Nora Hebert Longon; aunt, Noreen Rambish Longon; cousin, Jodi Rambish; and close cousin, Kathy Seymour. He now joins his friends, "Dougie" and "Clint" in heaven to complete their team.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Jo Ann Longon; sister Angie Longon Casey, of Ocean Springs; niece, Katie Casey; nephew, Corey Casey; ex brother-in-law, Stacy Casey of Ocean Springs; uncle, Bill and Nanni "Punkin" Vassalli of Ocean Springs; Nan Joyleen and Poppa Seymour of Ocean Springs; and many cousins and close friends. He is also survived by his lifelong friend, Christina Pitalo and their dog, Nina.
Jason was loved very much by his family and friends. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was always happy and a joy to be around. He loved life and will be missed. We love you, Jason, and you will always be in our hearts. We know that you are in good hands.

Visitation is Tuesday, August 26, 2008, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services are Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the "T. L. Jason Longon" Memorial Fund at any Hancock Bank on the MS Gulf Coast.
Pallbearers will be Mike Vassalli, Bubba Vassalli, Dwayne Vassalli, Mark Seymour, Jeff Seymour, Danny Seymour, Conrad Hamel, David Vierling, Jordan Seymour, Charlie Ferrill, and Michael Webb.
