T/Sgt Michael Joseph Sichitano

Mr.Michael Joseph Sichitano, age 75, of St. Martin, MS, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Cannon Hospice in Gulfport. Mr. Sichitano was a native of Braddock, PA. He enjoyed collecting coins all his life. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and retired May 1, 1977 with 23 years of service. After retiring, he lived his remaining years in St. Martin and went on to work at Ingalls, Avondale and the Grand Casino. Mr. Sichitano was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sue Eksi Sichitano, and his sister, Frances Sichitano Schockling. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Christiane Mazelin Sichitano of St. Martin; two sons, Michel (Judy) Sichitano and Jimmie (Sandy) Sichitano; one daughter, Patricia (Donald) Westbrook, all of St. Martin; and four sisters, Joan Boyd of Rancho Cordova, CA, Jennifer (Richard) Jehorek of Brule, NE, Annette (Robert) Good of Swan Point, MD and Judy Doss of TN. He was the grandfather to Donald, Joey, Yvonne and Marie Westbrook, Jimmy and Steven Sichitano, Kimberly Straw, Adam Shaw, Brandon Necaise, and great-grandfather to Cody and Johnny Straw, Kersten, Trisha and Tristen Shaw. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 12 noon till service time. Interment will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
