Tamera Lorraine Smith “Tammy”, age 61, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on January 18, 2025.
Tammy was born on October 24, 1963 to parents, Jessie Scarbrough and George Schulz in Beaufort, SC.
She earned an associate’s degree from Tulane University. She was a dedicated manager at Animal Care Hospital, under Dr. Stephanie Stubbs, for 8 years. She enjoyed celebrating Mardi Gras, she was a lifetime member of the Chili Pepper Queens group, playing with her grandson, traveling with her family, interior design, and hanging out with her best friends.
Tamera Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Scarborough and George Schulz and beloved husband, C.L. “Smitty” Smith.
She is survived by her step parents, Edward and Polly Herrin; daughter, Madison Ann Crapo; son-in-law, Tyler Crapo; step daughter, Candace Cox; grandson, Wyatt Lee Crapo; sister, Stacey Russo; God-child, Bailey Zirlott; beloved pets, Rosie and Lily; and many friends who adored her.
A graveside will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 am. All participants are to arrive at the National Cemetery by 10:45 am for the 11:00 am committal service.
A celebration of life is to be held in the Spring.
