Mrs. Tammy Ferguson Johnson, 30, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, in Biloxi.
Tammy was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She was a cheerleader and on the softball team at St. Martin High School and a graduate of the University of South Mississippi where she earned a degree in Language/Arts and Education. She taught the sixth and seventh grades at St. Martin Middle School and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Ferguson and Mr. and Mrs. Walter "Guy" Goff; and an uncle, Doodle Goff. She is survived by her husband, Albert S. Johnson, IV of Biloxi; a daughter, Hannah Johnson; son, Brennen Johnson; parents, Tommy and Ruby Ferguson; brother, Tom Ferguson of St. Martin; niece, Alex Ferguson and nephew, Jake Ferguson.
Tammy was a very outgoing person who loved life and helping people.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Bosarge Cemetery in St. Martin.
