Tanner Charles Fountain

Tanner Charles Fountain, age 18 of Ocean Springs died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Tanner was a 2010 graduate of Ocean Springs High School and a former student of Pascagoula School District. He was a member of the Ocean Springs High School Wrestling Team. Tanner attended St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and was a member of the CYO. He volunteered with St. Elizabeth Seton's youth program and the local Habitat for Humanity. Tanner was preceded in death by his father, Sean Henry Fountain; paternal grandmother, Gloria Sweatman Fountain and his uncle, Taylor Richard Fountain. Survivors include his mother, Leslie Dildy Beaugez; step-father, Keith Beaugez; siblings, Claire Fountain, Harrison Fountain, Jacqueline Beaugez, Meghan Beaugez and Rachel Beaugez. He is also survived by the following: maternal grandparents, Charles "Jerry" and Judy Buysee Dildy, Johnny and Lois David Burgard, Herbie and Freda Corey Beaugez, great-grandmother, Lucille Buysee; paternal grandfather, H.F. "Buddy" Fountain; aunts and uncles, John and Susan Burgard, Donna and Jimmy Triay, Jimmy and Leslie Burgard, Diane and Jack Hickman, Sharon Beaugez, Stephanie and Matt Jermyn, Brian Beaugez, Valri and Ron Crosby, Craig Fountain, Kim Fountain, Dama Fountain, Wendy Fountain and Lori Fountain. Tanner is survived as well by a vast number of cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends. He was especially close to friends Josh Frey and Devin Cowardt. Tanner will be forever loved and missed. Please keep him in your hearts and prayers. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, where friends may visit two hours prior to service. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
