Teddy E. Harris

Teddy E. Harris was born December 5, 1943 to Carl W. and Luecresha Freightman Harris, Sr. Mr. Harris passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 at the age of 66. Mr. Harris was a life long resident of Gulfport, MS and attended 33rd Avenue High School and was a steel welder for many years. Mr. Harris leaves to mourn, his wife, Edith Jean Harris, his daughters, LaShonda (Sheldon) Harris Deloach and Kim Harris, both of Gulfport and Lisa Harris of El Cerrito, CA; two sons, Freddy Craft of Gulfport, Rodney (Jackie) Harris of Aberdeen, MD; one step-son, Xavier Sean (Lawanda) Thornton of Pass Christian; special friend, Jessie Moffett of Gulfport and her family; six sisters, Patricia (Frank) Carter of Mary Esther, FL, Linda (Willie) Robertson, Arleen (Ronald) Estus, Hilda (Larry) Maye, Deloris (Calvin) Leach, Deniece (Norman Smith, Jr.) Harris, all of Gulfport; two brothers, Jerome (Charlene) Harris of Gulfport, Carl (Dorothy) Harris, Jr. of Biloxi; one aunt, Althea Harris of Long Beach; along with a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 East Pass Road in Gulfport where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the service with the graveside service following at Pine Ridge Gardens Cemetery.
