Terry "TJ" L. Thomas

Terry "TJ" L. Thomas, Jr., 23, of Gulfport died Saturday, August 26, 2006 in Hattiesburg. Mr. Thomas was a graduate of D’Iberville High School. He also graduated with honors from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he was Mr. MGCCC, on the Vice President's List, Student Government President, in the Reflections Club, Who's Who Among American Junior Colleges, on the Food Services Committee and the Hall of Fame. While attending the University Of Southern Mississippi he became a Sigma Phi Epsilon, was in the Student Government, in the Reflections Club, on the Student Council, in the Mardi Gras Carnival Association, volunteered at Twelve Baskets, and was an honorary Pi Beta Phi Big Brother. Mr. Thomas has been accepted into both Yale and Tulane Law School. He was loved and respected and will be missed by everyone. Mr. Thomas is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Myrna Favre; sister, Amy Alexander and her children, Alexis, Arielle and Jacob; two step-brothers, Randy Favre and Kevin Favre and his wife Ashley and their son Cooper; a step-sister, Emily Thomas and her husband Kyle and their children Sara, Bradley, Jared and Benjamin; grandparents, Joyce and Freddie Fountain; uncles and aunts, David and Robin Thomas, Johnny and Christa Glenn, Freddie and Melinda Fountain, Jr., Bob and Janet Roley, David and Theresa Favre, Chuck and Emilou Favre, and Steve and Cathy Fortenberry; cousins, Beaux Boudreaux; Jillian, Lauren and Haley Glenn; Christopher, Freddie-O, Nicholas and Victoria Fountain; Bryan Roley; and Lori, Justin and Jennifer Favre. Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2006 from 5:00 til 8:00pm and funeral services will be Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 2:00pm all at the O'Neal Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Burial to follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
