T.G. Blackwell

T. G. "Blackie" Blackwell, 88, of Saucier, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 in Saucier, MS. Mr. Blackwell was a lifelong resident of Saucier. He was a retired mechanic of Jay Jay Chevrolet. Mr. Blackwell was preceded in death by his wife, Esther "Blondie" Blackwell, parents, Charles Washington Blackwell, Sr. and Denisha Olivia Williams Blackwell, 2 sisters, Vera May Broadus and Dorothy Marie Reeves, and 1 brother John "Dub" Blackwell. Survivors include 6 daughters, Shirley Fitzgerald of Orange Grove, Kay Swanner of Sand Hill, MS, Betty Young of Long Beach, Linda LeMay of Saucier, Sandra Hunt of Independence, MO, and Wanda Ladner of Saucier. 1 sister, Ruby Lee Patton of Long Beach, 2 brothers, Charles Washington Blackwell of Saucier and Joe B. Blackwell of Long Beach, 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-5 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road. Service will be 10 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Coalville Cemetery.
