Thelma Cruthirds Roberts

Mrs. Thelma Cruthirds Roberts, age 81, of Biloxi, MS. died Tuesday, October 11, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Roberts was a lifelong resident of the community, was active with the Eastern Star, and was past worthy matron of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, VanCleave Cruthirds and Maggie Garlotte Carroll. She is survived by two sons, Roland Poole of Biloxi and Charles Powell of D'Iberville, four sisters, Edith Edelman and Mildred Perry, both of D'Iberville, Vivian Schuehle of Biloxi, and Viola Cottrell of Winter Haven, FL., two brothers, Thomas Carroll of Biloxi and Charles Barton of Bellevue, MO., four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 13, 2005, from 12 Noon until 2 PM, followed by a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
