Mr. Thomas Dallas Laing, 90, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, October 13, 2008, in Biloxi.
Mr. Laing was born in Sutton, West Virginia and had been a longtime resident of Biloxi. He was a graduate of Salem University and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a member of Magnolia Lodge #120 F&AM, Socttish Rite, Joppa Temple, Order of The Eastern Star and Order of The Amaranth. He was also a member of the VFW and National Rifle Association.
Mr. Laing was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Norma Wininger Laing; parents, Thomas J. and Mary Garrettson Laing; and a sister, Vivian Murphy.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas D. Laing, Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Seattle, WA, and Martin D. Laing of Alexandria, VA; sister, Evelynne Eastman of N. Ridgefield, Ohio; and grandchildren, Sarah E. Laing, Robyn J. Laing and Thomas D. Laing, III.
Visitation is Wednesday, October 15, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services are Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Swetman Cemetery.
