Thomas Ramby Evans

Thomas “Tommy” Ramby Evans, 84 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

He was born on November 18, 1940 in Cleburne, TX to J.T. and Pearl Evans. He liked to work on cars, race cars with his stepson, and he liked to go dancing. He loved fishing, Nascar racing, and the New Orleans Saints.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Pearl Evans; stepson, David Evans; and sisters, Mary Griffin and Trudy Dodson.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Evans; stepdaughter, Debra Cox; step grandson, Dwayne Cox; sister, Patti Lennert; and brother, Jimmy Evans.

The family would like to extend a thank you to all the nurses and staff at Singing River Hospital, Ocean Springs, and the staff at Hospice of Light.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
