Thomas Francis Murray, Sr.

Thomas Francis Murray, Sr., age 85, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Ocean Springs. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who worked hard for his family and was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his son, Patrick G. Murray; sisters, Mary Allen and Peggy Murray; brother, Joseph Murray and his parents, Patrick and Margaret Murray. Survivors include his wife of sixty four years, Dorothy Norton Murray; daughter, Grace Rawls of Biloxi; sons, Thomas F. Murray, Jr., Dennis J. (Vonda) Murray and Michael J. Murray all of Biloxi and Arthur J. Murray of Ocean Springs; brothers, James Murray of Boston, MA along with ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, D'Iberville, where friends may visit one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
