Thomas G. Orr

Thomas G. Orr, age 67, was born September 17, 1937 in Baltimore, MD and had been a resident of D'Iberville for 7 years. He went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 2, 2005. Mr. Orr was preceded in death by his parents, Waitman L. Orr and Elsie Glassmeyer Orr; and one brother, Waitman L. Orr, Jr. Mr. Orr is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathryn Orr of D'Iberville; sons, Michael V. Orr and his wife Brenda of Clover, PA, Charles (Chuck) Orr and his wife Lisa of Ocean Springs, MS, Robert (Bob) Orr and his wife Charla of Biloxi, MS and Brian Orr of Milhelm, PA; Daughters, Ruthann Daniel and her husband Brent of Aloka, OK, Mary Catherine Sager and her husband Michael of Granbury, TX, Roni Francke and her husband Rich of State College, PA and Traci Orr of State College, PA; and beloved niece Paula King and her husband Ralph of Vancleave, MS; 13 grandchildren, Amber, Timothy, Ashley, Dale, Amanda, Bob, Patrick, Michael, Jonathan, Connor, Cassandra, Devon and Lyndsay. Mr. Orr had recently retired from a distinguished 45 year career in television news and radio broadcasting. He was a published author of one novel. Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2005 from 6pm to 9pm and funeral services will be Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 1pm all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Biloxi City Cemetery.
