Thomas Jefferson Craig

Thomas J. Craig, age 88, of Ocean Springs, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mr. Craig was born on November 29, 1918 in McEwen, Tennessee. He was a World War II Veteran who served in England and was discharged at Keesler Air Force Base. He continued to work at Keesler as a civilian employee for a total government service of 35 years. Tom was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and a Charter Member of St. Martin Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Veronica Fountain Craig; his parents, Hilary and Ova Craig and two brothers, Buford and Aubrey Craig. Survivors include his sister, Gladys Craig Tarpy of McEwen, TN and many nieces and nephews including Millie Blair Tiblier, who devoted many years of attentive care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2007 at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church, 360 Lameuse St. in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at Swetman Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
