Thomas "Jerry" Quave

Mr. Thomas "Jerry" Quave, age 69 and a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs, died Saturday November 12, 2005 in Ocean Springs Mr. Quave served two years in the U.S.Army, and was a police officer for many years with the Ocean Springs Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department. He retired after 25 years with Blossman Gas Co. He was an avic hunter and fisherman. Preceding him in death was his parents; Willie and Alta Cook Quave. He is survived by his wife Shirley Quave of Ocean Springs, four daughters; Lattie Fayard of Ocean Springs, Debbie (Jay) Webb of Perkinston, MS, Beverly (James) Bradford of Ocean Springs, and Julie (Joe) Davis of Saucier, MS. Also surviving Mr. Quave is two sisters; Fay Sellers of Ocean Springs, Laura Simmons of D'Iberville, six grandchildren; Kristan Hillard, David Rainer, Brian Keel, Jennifer Bradford, Ashley Fayard, Jerri Davis, five great-grandchildren, extended family Donald and Giesla Shaffer and their children Donald Jr., Richard and Valerie, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday November 15, 2005 from 4:00pm till 6:00pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
