Thomas Franklin "Frankie" Johnson

Thomas Franklin "Frankie" Johnson, 89, of Long Beach, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Pass Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Adele Johnson; brothers, John, Dempsey, Lorene, Bobby and James "Choo Choo"; and sisters, Margie and Marie. He is survived by his son, Mike and daughters Wanda Pender and Donna Baker (Jeremey); grandchildren, Jessica Burrill and Andrew Burrill and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was a life-long resident of Long Beach. He was educated in Long Beach and then entered the US Army where he proudly served his country. Following his enlistment in the US Army, Mr. Johnson worked most of his life as a carpenter and painter. He enjoyed fishing as one of his favorite hobbies. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Dixie White House Nursing Home. The funeral service is Monday January 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Conn Cemetery in Long Beach.
