Thomas Leland

Thomas Leland, age 91 of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born on August 18, 1929 in New Jersey to Leonard and Ruth Leland. Thomas retired from Bellsouth in Pensacola, FL and is a retired Master Sergeant from the US Air Force. He enjoyed yard work, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Thomas is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Lois Leland; his parents, Leonard and Ruth Leland; and his brother, Jim Leland. He is survived by his stepsons, Andre’ (Margaret Raye) Davis and Jimmy (Lynne) Davis; grandchildren, Clint (Susanna) Davis, Brian (Leigh) Davis, Amber Hallberg, and Breanna (Garrett) Gray; great- grandchildren, Dre (Kera) Davis, Brian (Alexis) Davis, Bitty Davis, Annaleigha Davis, Trevor Davis, Dillon (Kayla) Davis, Lauren Davis, and Gavin Gray; and two great- great grandchildren, Hazel Kate Davis and Memphis Davis. The family would like to extend a thank you to SAAD’s Hospice for their care to Thomas. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Vancleave #2 Cemetery.
