Thomas Aaron McGill, 81, of Gulfport passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 in Gulfport.
Tommy was retired from Local 11 Sheet Metal Union, working many jobs across the country. He was also inactive Navy Reserve.
He was an avid fisherman, builder, cook, and researcher. But most of all, Tommy enjoyed learning the Word of God and spreading the Good News; he was a member of the Christian Worship Center in Gulfport. As the spiritual leader of the family, Tommy leaves behind a powerful legacy for all who loved, knew, and met him.
Mr. McGill is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Vilanda Johnson; parents, Olga Page and Roy McGill; brother, Bobby Page; and granddaughter, Faith Elizabeth Stewart.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Jane Flanagan McGill; three children, Sheila Furlow (Bob), Aaron McGill (Karen), and Beth Childers (Derek); five step-children, Elton "Art" Behrens (Cynthia), Tim Behrens, Don Behrens (Tamara), Deanna Broome (Joe), and Amy Phinazee Altese (Chris); brothers, Ronnie Page, Paul Page and Byron Page; sisters, Kathy Cortez and Sheryl Davenport; 19 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery.
