Thomas Paul Wallace went to be with the Lord on Saturday evening, September 19, 2020 at the age of 72 years old. He was born on Valentine's Day in 1948. He grew up in Biloxi and graduated from Biloxi High School. Shortly after high school, he joined the US Air Force where he served for 4 years. His last assignment was in Washington State, where he was an avid aircraft mechanic. After his service commitment was completed, he worked in the carpenter shop at Keesler Air Force Base, followed by working in the industrial painting industry. He eventually went to work at Ingalls Shipbuilding and later as a security person for the casinos along the Gulf Coast. Tommy was forced to retire due to health issues. He was diagnosed with heart issues and forced to be on kidney dialysis. In February, Debbie and he moved to Biloxi. Over the course of time, he decided to stop dialysis and asked the Lord to take him home. Tommy married Deborah Claire Catchot on February 15th, 1969. They had two sons, Tommy, Jr and Jeffery and one granddaughter Megan Wallace. His joys were his two sons, his granddaughter, watching old westerns on TV, and following LSU and New Orleans Saints football. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel Wallace; his brother, Jimmy Wallace, Jr.; and his son, Jeffery Wallace (Oct 2019). He is survived by his wife Deborah; his son, Tommy, Jr.; his granddaughter, Megan; and three sisters, Mary Pearl Tremmel and husband Jacob, Myrna Meaut and husband Boyd, and Ruth Williams and husband Tommy. Also survived by Brother-in-law Harold Catchot and wife Carolyn, Edwin Catchot and Sister-in-law Donna Kay Guebard and husband Jerry. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home and friends visited from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve this family.
