Thomas "Tom" Paul Wasmer

Thomas Paul Wasmer “Tom”, 58, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014. He was born in Mobile, AL. Tom was a resident of the Coast for the past 40 years. He was a boat captain, master electrician, master plumber and tradesman. Tom was an avid lover and supporter of Cruising the Coast. He volunteered lots of time helping others before and after Hurricane Katrina. Tom was preceded in death by a brother, Hobson Wasmer, III and a sister, Paulette Farquhar. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Hobson R. and Divina Wasmer of Biloxi; mother, Corinne Walton of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Angela Choate of Fort Worth, TX, Colette and Roger Schumacher of Kemah, Texas and Lynn and Aron Thomassone of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Rick Wasmer of Biloxi, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations, to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 870 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home.
