Tina Denise Cook-Gomez

Tina Denise Cook-Gomez passed into the loving arms of our Lord on Saturday March 17, 2012. She was born October 3, 1958 to Retha S. Cook and the late James E. Cook, Sr. Her extraordinary love for family and friends had no bounds. Tina was an accomplished master cosmetologist, enjoyed spending time with family and friends baking, making jewelry, and practical jokes. She was fun loving with an engaging sense of humor and remained strong through the many struggles she endured. Tina had a very generous heart and gave her love unreservedly. Survivors include her loving husband Nerio A. Gomez, son James Johnathan Carnley (Ashley), daughter Selina M. Royalty, her mother Retha S. Cook, sister Retha Ann Cook-Edwards (James), brother James E. Cook II (Debbie), five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father James E. Cook, Sr., niece Josie Cook, and nephew James E. Cook III. Tina will be deeply missed by all. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at any Regions Bank to the Tina Cook-Gomez burial fund. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Thursday, March 22, 2012, there will be a 10 am chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
