Mr. Tom Shaul, 64, of Gainesville, FL, died Thursday, May 5, 2005, in Gainesville.
Mr. Shaul was a native of Biloxi and a member of Latimer Assembly of God Church. He was a retired U. S. Marine Veteran with 30 years of service. Mr. Shaul was past Commander of VFW Post 10164 in Interlachen, FL and a member of the Pro Bass Fishermen.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas "Dick" Shaul and a brother, George William Shaul.
Survivors include his former wife, Dorothy Scarborough Shaul; a daughter, Tammy E. Bryant and her husband, Darrell, of D'Iberville; one son, Thomas Scott Shaul and his wife, Judy, of Vancleave; his mother, Jeanette Cruthirds Shaul of Latimer; his companion for 30 years, Beulah Patterson of Interlachen, FL; Grandchildren, Amber Marie, Courtney Ann, Ashley Nicole, Albany Elizabeth Shaul, Cameron Demi Page Barnes, Cindy, Travis, Danielle Ownes and Steven Ownes, Jr. and great grandchild, Seth Avery Shaul.
Funeral services will be 12 p. m. Monday, May 9, 2005 at the Latimer Assembly of God Church where friends may visit from 10 a.m. till service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors.
