Tommy Steed Orr

Tommy Steed Orr, 74 of Vancleave, MS passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

He was born on August 18, 1948 in Mobile, AL to Robert Steed Orr and Mable Ramsey. He served in the United States Army.

Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta “Cookie” Orr; parents, Robert Steed Orr and Mable Beryl Ramsey Orr; siblings, Amelia (Russ) Smith, Bernice Jordon (Hartford) Granger, Iris (Sonny) Heinrick, Mavis (Leroy) Scheffler, Robert (Edna) Orr, Winnie (Buddy) Triplett, Jamie Orr; and his twin brother, Earl Orr.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Orr and Jason (Cindy) Orr; daughter, Jennifer (Roger) Kendrick; grandchildren, Cody (Melissa) Fullington, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Mckinney, Hailey (Nic) Prince, Hannah Orr, Nathan Orr, Joshua Orr, Makenzie Orr, Cody (Sierra) Pate, Josh Olsen, and Michael Joiner; great-grandchildren, River McKinney, Issac Grey Olsen, and Tyler Brooks Olsen; brothers, Billy (Sandy) Orr and Dean Orr; long time friend, Jude Francis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at River Chase Nursing Home in Gautier, MS and Notre Dame Hospice.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Vancleave, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
