Tommy Rhodes

Mr Tommy "Kootsy" Tommy Rhodes Jr. , 40, of Ocean Springs died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and proud of his professional work as a painter. He was an avid NASCAR fan who cheered Jimmie Johnson on to his 2006 Nextel Cup Championship. Mr Rhodes was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Norma Rhodes and a grandmother Melvina Brumbaugh. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Sally Rhodes of St. Martin; his wife Lynda Rhodes of Ocean Springs; a daughter, Cassie Rhodes of St. Martin; sons, Wade Rhodes of St. Martin, Justin Ross of Woolmarket, and Brandon Johnson of Vancleave; step-children, Jeffrey and Shelbie Garbutt of Ocean Springs; brother Bobby Rhodes and wife, Michelle, of Vancleave; sisters Darlene Delaune and her husband, Earl, of Biloxi, and Wanda Gray and her husband, Wayne, of Woolmarket. He also had numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, November 27 , 2006 at Bradford- O'Keefe Funeral Home Howard Avenue from 5pm until 9pm. Services will be Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 11:00am with burial to follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
