Torrey Lee Woodard

Torrey Lee Woodard, 34, joined other family members in heaven on Saturday, August 19, 2006. Torrey was born in San Diego, CA and had been a resident of D'Iberville for the past ten years. He was employed with Krebs Woodworking in Pascagoula as a carpenter for nine years. Torrey is survived by his mother and step-father, Ron and Aggie Johnson of Gautier; his father, John Woodard, of Portland, Oregon; his sister, Lana Clayton, of Ft. Hood, Texas, and his nephew, Ethan Lee Clayton. He will also be missed by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Torrey enjoyed woodworking, gardening and his greatest joy, time with his friend, Freeway. We who loved him know what a special person Torrey was and how blessed we were to be part of his life. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, 2006, from 10 until 11:30 a.m. with a prayer service by Father Henry McInerey at 11:30 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. He will be cremated and his ashes buried at D'Iberville Memorial Park with private family services. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Red Cross, Hurricane Katrina Fund, 2781 Fernwood Road, Biloxi, MS 39286.
