Troy Anthony Garriga, Sr.

Mr. Troy A. Garriga of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Mr. Garriga had lived a wonderful and interesting life. His family will always remember his quick wit and beautiful smile. He was largely self taught and quite proud of learning computer skills late in life. Mr. Garriga will always be remembered for his great generosity to his family and friends. Mr. Garriga leaves behind a large family, including 12 children, many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His friends were plentiful and ranged in age from 4 on up. He, himself, was from a large family and was always extremely close to his many brothers and sisters. He lived with his sister, Gail, until 2 months preceding his death. Mr. Garriga was a devout Catholic and enjoyed going to mass with his sister as often as possible. He is responsible for bringing many of his family back into the church. At the end of his battle with cancer he stated that he was ready to see the Lord, and he knew his beloved Mother and Father would be there to welcome him into Heaven. He has lost many of his family in recent years; several of his siblings and his youngest and sweetest daughter. He will be missed by all. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs was in charge of arrangements.
