Trulon B. Pitts

Mr. Trulon B. Pitts, age 71, of Vancleave, MS died Sunday, April 27, 2014, in Mobile, AL. Mr. Pitts was a native of Jones County, MS and was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He retired as a mechanic from Swartzfager Ford in Laurel, MS, was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Mr. Pitts was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Pitts, two brothers, Roy Pitts and Melvin Pitts and a nephew, David Pitts. Survivors include two nephews, Ken Pitts and Dr. Lane Pitts, several great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 30, from 11am until 12 noon, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. A 12 noon procession will leave the funeral home for a 12:30 pm graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery, with military honors. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
