Turner Rufus Hill, Sr.

Turner Rufus Hill, Sr., 70, of George County, went to be with our Lord Monday, August 23, 2010. He was born and raised in Biloxi, MS and attended Biloxi Schools. He retired from the City of Biloxi and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his parents, David and Matilda Hill; two brothers, Henry Hill and August Hill; three sisters, Matilda, Mae and Connie; two grandaughters, Madison Elaine and Katie Susannah. Survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Ethel Graham Hill; three sons, Turner Hill, Jr. (Renee'), David Hill (Ann Marie) and Troy Hill (Holly); grandchildren, Andrew Hill, Devyn Hill, Cody Hill, Anna Hill, Levi Hill, Mary-Pate Hill and Allison Hill; two brothers, Leon Hill and Lawrence Hill (Romeena); two sisters, Linda Matthews (Dwayne) and Shirley Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. rosary at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church, (St. John Catholic Church), In-State 10:00 a.m. with 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery in George County.
