Valerie Rogers

Valerie Rogers, age 77, of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.

Valerie was born on June 19, 1946 in VA. She graduated from high school in New Orleans, LA. Valerie was a chef by profession and she enjoyed road trips, gambling, novels, and cinema.

Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Rogers (2010); father, Albert DeLong (1958); mother, Leona DeLong (2006); son, Mario Morales; and brother, Roy Burke.

Survivors include her daughters, Angela Morales and Sylvia Pierre; son, Jacob Monks-Rogers; and grandchildren, Aaron Rogers, Adam Martin, Michael Florian, and Jason Rogers.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Rogers family.
