Vera Mae Carnley Wilson

Mrs. Vera Mae Wilson, 84, of Ocean Springs, died December 13, 2006, in Roseville, CA. Mrs. Wilson was born in Ovett, MS and resided on the Mississippi Gulf Coast from 1965 until 2004. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and volunteered at Keesler Air Force Base Medical Center and with the American Red Cross. She enjoyed reading and traveling, and loved being with her family and friends. Mrs Wilson was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Garnet Wilson; her parents, John and Myrtle Carnley; and two brothers, Irie Carnley and James O. Carnley. Survivors include a daughter, Nora Snarr and her husband, Jim, of Orangevale, CA; sons, Robert G. Wilson and Steven A. Wilson, both of Ocean Springs; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
