Verna Lee Benne

Verna Lee Benne, 74, of Biloxi, MS suddenly but peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011. Truly a kind and gentle soul, she led a life of loving and caring for all she came in contact. She was an enthusiastic homemaker, and volunteer, who also enjoyed her cats, bird feeding and gardening. She was most proud of her family and considered this her greatest legacy. She will be missed. She is preceded in death by her daughter Linda Benne. She is survived by her daughter, Helen A. Powell (Keith) of Biloxi, MS; her two sons, Ronald J. Benne Jr. (Jacqueline) of Biloxi, MS and David L. Benne (Renee) of Mobile, AL, nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date.
