Vernon P. Wilson (Fuzzy) born June 7, 1932 in Pawhuska, OK passed away on July 1, 2008 in Gulfport, MS due to a lengthy illness.
He lived in Liberal, KS from 1955 until he retired from Headco Bearing Supply Inc. formally C&W Machine Shop and C&B Machine Shop of Liberal, KS in 1996, where he worked for 36 years. He was a machinist by trade and had several other hobbies including building dirt track cars. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding and collecting his heritage antiquities such as: swords, knives, hatchets, etc. He was Pentecostal in faith and had given his heart to his Lord Jesus Christ and is now with our Father in Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his father, William and mother Delia Wilson.
He is survived by his brother, Virgil E. Wilson Sr. and his wife, Wendy of Cleveland, OK, five children: Linda Winkler of Ocean Springs, MS; Paula Calhoun of Lawrence, KS; Larry Wilson and his wife Roxy of Mustang, OK; Barbara Caldwell and her husband, David of Turpin, OK and Steve Wilson and his wife Cathy of Gulfport, MS, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
All memorials should be made to Millers Mortuary in care of Oklahoma City Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.
