Vernon Lloyd Schneider

Vernon Lloyd Schneider, Sr., 82, of D’Iberville, MS died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Biloxi. Mr. Schneider was a native of Biloxi and was of Catholic Faith. He was a USAF Retired Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Schneider was a retired policeman for Mexico, Missouri and a former Security Guard at the MS Coast Coliseum. He is preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Margaret Cannette Schneider; his brothers, Merrill, Herman, Edward and Gerald; and one grandson. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gladys Schneider; his daughters, Diana (Gordon) Clark, Deborah (Johnny) Bailey and Dolores (Brian) Smith; his sons, Vernon “Bernie” (Michelle) Schneider, David (Mary) Schneider, Steven Schneider and Eric Schneider; his brother, Frank Schneider; 28 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. There will be a 2:00 pm procession for a 2:30 pm graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
