Victor Patrick Blanton, 45, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 in Gulfport. Mr. Blanton was employed by Eagle Mechanical. Mr. Blanton was preceded in death by his father, James "Jim" Carter Blanton, Jr., maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Harry T. Lyons and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. James Carter Blanton, Sr. Survivors include his fiancee Tammy Mayfield of Long Beach, mother Louise Blanton, 2 sisters, Sherry Bahm & her husband Dickie, Debbie Lyons, 2 brothers, Jimmy Blanton, Harry Blanton & his wife Wanda all of Orange Grove, 3 nephews, Rick Bahm & his wife Annell of Saucier, Tim Bahm & his wife Jenny of Orange Grove, Harry Blanton, Jr. of Biloxi, niece, Corinne Blanton of Biloxi, 2 great nieces, Skylar Bahm of Saucier, and Kayla Bahm of Orange Grove. There will be a 1:00 PM service, Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour before service. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Coalville United Methodist Church, 12556 Lorraine Road, Biloxi, MS. 39532.
