Vida Benson Wilkerson

Vida Benson Wilkerson, 87, of Vancleave, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 in Gautier. Mrs. Wilkerson was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She retired from Swingster Garment Factory in Ocean Springs with over twenty-five years of service. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Vancleave. Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her husband, John Louis Wilkerson; her son, Ralph Wilkerson; two sisters, Ann Goff and Bernice Bang; and two brothers, Jimmy Benson and Frank Benson. Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by a brother, Lawrence Benson and his wife Pearl of Saraland, AL; a sister-in-law, Earlene Benson of Grand Bay, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 5:00 until 7:00pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00am at Community of Christ Church in Vancleave; friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Community of Christ Cemetery.
