Mr. Vincent Carroll, 82, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, November 3, 2007, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Carroll was a native of Ocean Springs and lifelong resident of the coast. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WW II and the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of Latimer Assembly of God Church and a loving husband, father and friend.
Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Loretta Ada Seymour Carroll; parents, Roosevelt and Bessie Tanner Carroll; daughter, Mary Delores Carroll; son, Paul W. Carroll; brothers, Thomas Carroll, Paul Carroll, Robert Theodore Carroll, and James Allen Carroll.
Survivors include six daughters, Patricia Charron (Ron) of The Colony, TX, Judy Knuth (Bob) of Woolmarket, Kay Star Williams (Jerry) of Tupelo, MS, Rose Carroll of St. Martin, Thelma Bush of Picayune, and Lynn Entrekin (Danny) of Vancleave; three sons, Thomas Carroll (Teresa) and Scott Carroll (Eileen) all of Ocean Springs, and Leon Carroll of Latimer; four sisters, Helen Johnson, Mary Hudson, Betty McMillan and Bobbie Smith; six brothers, Rufus Krohn, Olen Carroll, Standish Carroll, George Carroll, Wayne Carroll and Tim Carroll; and thirty grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, November 5, 2007, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in William Seymour Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
