Vincent Paul Polovich

Mr. Vincent Paul Polovich, 42, of Biloxi, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 in Biloxi. Mr. Polovich was a native and lifeling resident of Biloxi where he graduated from Notre Dame in 1981. He also attended Perkinston Community College, Springhill College and the University of Southern Mississippi where he played baseball. Mr. Polovich also played semi-pro baseball. He was employed in his family business, V. J's Auto Parts. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Mr. Polovich is survived by his daughter, Summer Elizabeth Polovich; his son, Jason Paul Polovich; his step-son, Anthony Delaune; and their mother, Rena Polovich; his parents, Vincent "V. J." and Edith Polovich; two sisters, Dyane Held and husband Mike, and Beth Gilreath and husband Larry; two brothers, Keith Polovich and fiance Michelle and Richard Polovich and wife Terri; and ten nieces and nephews. The family prefers memorials to Our Lady of Fatima School Fund 314 Jim Money Road, Biloxi, MS 39531 or Mercy Cross High School 390 Crusaders Drive, Biloxi, MS 39530. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit from 9:00am until service time. Burial to follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
