Vincent Peter Feranda, Jr.

Vincent Peter Feranda, Jr., 80, of Biloxi died Sunday, July 8, 2007 in Biloxi. Mr. Feranda was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked for the Biloxi Police Department for 25 years. He was a member of Biloxi Elks Lodge # 606 and the Knights of Columbus Council # 1244 in Biloxi. Mr. Feranda is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Feranda and Catherine Acevedo Feranda, two brothers, Louis Feranda, Sr. and Joseph Feranda. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Vivian Aucoin Feranda of Biloxi, a daughter, Debra Feranda Thibodeaux of Phoenix, AZ, three sons, Larry Feranda of Phoenix, AZ, Vincent Feranda III of Biloxi, Eddie Feranda of Biloxi and a brother, John Barry Feranda of Gautier, MS. Survivors also include 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Service is Friday, July 13, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour prior.
